Welcome to the Skills Enhancement Series for the 2010-11 season.
Once again this year there will be two separate Skills Enhancement Series Sessions. Group A will include Mite C, Mite D and Squirt Aged players and Group B will include Pee Wee and Bantam aged players. Bi-monthly skates will focus on individual skill areas including Power Skating, Puck Handling, Passing and Shooting.
Again this year we will be offering a separate Skills Enhancement Series specifically for Goalies (SES-G). There will be four (4) SES-G Sessions. This season all goalies will be in the same Group, but will worked with accordingly by the Instructors.
· Group A will include Mite C, Mite D and Squirt Aged skaters (2000, 2001, 2002 & 2003 birthdays)
· Group B will include Pee Wee and Bantam aged Goalies (1996, 1997, 1998 & 19998 birthdays)
In order to maintain the quality of instruction, keep a low instructor-to-player ratio and maximize the benefits for each skater, the Skills Enhancement Series for Players (SES-P) is limited to 30 skaters in each Session. This program is open to all rostered GTHA players in good standing, who want to work at improving their individual skating and puck control skills. The SES-P and SES-G are designed for dedicated players, to provide more ice time above and beyond their regular team activities to focus on improving their core hockey skills. Sessions will be filled on a first come, first serve basis, so sign up early!
Pre-registration is required. The cost for the 2010-2011 SES-P is $85.00 per Skater, and $45.00 per Goalie for the SES-G. Online registration will be available soon. Once each Session is full, names will be placed on the waiting list in the order received. The SES Fee must be paid in full, prior to the first skate.
