Developmental Programs
Developmental Hockey is a fun and cost effective way for new players 9-18 years old to introduce themselves to the great game of hockey. This program allows new players to get a feel for skating, basic skills, and the Grand Traverse Hockey Association before being placed on a team with other, more experienced players. All “new to hockey” players must take Developmental Hockey before being placed on a team.
This year Developmental Hockey is $50 for 3 Saturday skates beginning in October. After completing a session of Developmental Hockey, a skater may join a team. Team placement is determined by the GTHA Divisional Coaches. You may elect to register for team placement in addition to Developmental Hockey at the time of registration.
